Far from the confines of the busy city, nestled in the remote backwoods of British Columbia, between pristine Seton and Anderson Lakes, along the Cayoosh Mountain Range, our camp offers the opportunity to share space with an abundance of wildlife. Here we live harmoniously within these wilds, connecting to its creatures and landscape. Gratitude, forgiveness, goal setting and reframing the vision of the world is practiced daily. Along with fitness and nutrition, our program strives to push personal limits, break down barriers and re-establish the relationship with nature, communities, and ultimately oneself. Our facilitators share personal lived experiences, present coping tools to deal with everyday stress, problem-solving strategies, and promote the importance of establishing a routine that allows for personal growth and healing. Through teamwork, problem solving and overcoming obstacles ranging from simple daily tasks to summiting a mountain, the camper’s mindset shifts from “I can’t’” to “I can” and they return home with a sense of fulfillment and belief in one’s self.
