for donating all the equipment, food, insurance and services to make Camp My Way Phase 1 Possible.
This was the Phase 1 of Camp My Way.
Most of the camping supplies, gear, canoes and boats were either borrowed or donated through Whistler Community Services and Escape Route. Our facilitators offer their time and services for free.
With the help of our sponsors we were able to cover the cost of a Whistler ATV Tour, a Scandinave Spa visit, a Pemberton Fish Finders fishing guide as well as groceries from Nesters Market and meals through Smoke Shack 99 and Pasta Lupino as well as accommodation through the Summit Lodge Botique Hotel
Terrence Joseph Kosikar has donated not only his time and resources organizing the retreat, but also his home for the Camp My Way – Base camp.
With the amazing help of the community we were able to send campers on a 6 days retreat to explore, heal and relax in the truly spectacular Seton Portage.
By running this pilot program we were able to test the waters, collect feedback and further develop Camp My Way 2017 Program.
