When we feel disconnected or alienated we experience pain. Addiction, depression, anger and violence are different ways we react to pain.
To heal our society and world we must heal the emotional wounds at the root of our pain.
We would recommend that every school, college, organisation and service has a clear definition of Bullying , Addiction, Mental Health Struggles , that is shared with everyone in the community. The best definitions are agreed collectively – involving staff, young people, children and parent/carers.
In order to help prevent “the people” , in todays society and future generations from stuggling with Substance Abuse, Mental Health challenges, we MUST begin to bring more Awareness.
With awareness comes Education , with more knowledge and education come more of an understanding.
“If we can take every child on the planet at the age of 5 …and teach them to meditate for 1 hour per week, we could end all violence and hatred around the world in one generation”.
Our presentation will bring more Awareness / Education / Understanding
– Post Traumatic Stress – Self Care / Self Awareness – Mental Health / Substance abuse challenges – Bullying – Harasment Prevention – Importance of Meditation / Exercise / Nutrition – Peer Support
