MISSION:
Setting out on May 5th 2020, the Camp My Way team will embark on a new adventure, pushing them both physically, emotionally and mentally.
The team will be flipping a 400lb tractor tire up the steep slopes of the coastal range all while camping out within the remains of the previous month’s avalanches and the unpredictable spring climate.
They will travel along the harsh Ridgeline, atop a glacier, oppressed by crevasses and beside a pristine alpine lake, all while practicing the tools utilized through lived experiences by the team to manage and overcome PTSD, mental health and substance abuse challenges.
Their goal will be to bring awareness, education and support to the world in regards to the stigmatized topic of PTSD, and inspire natural healing for any sort of mental, emotional, physical health challenges.
